Description:
• Aerial Bomb Fuze and Initiator
• It is solid state with a powerful micro-controller • It contains an Interrupted Explosive Chain
• It is used in multirole fighter aircraft.
• The minimal bombing altitude is 2000 m and the minimal flight speed is 200 km/h.
• The fuze set consists of:
- Fuze body: which may be mounted at the nose and/or tail of the bomb. It contains all the components necessary for the arming and detonation process.\
- Initiator: is mounted on the top between the bomb lugs and is
connected with fuze body.It is a safety com- ponent which
provides the necessary conditions to start the
arming process.
• The fuze set is developed and produced in accord- ance with
MIL-STD-1316
• The fuze satisfies the requirements defined in:
MIL-STD-331D, MIL-STD-810 MIL-STD-331D
MIL-STD-461EMIL-STD-2169,
MIL-STD-464,
MIL-STD-1512 & MIL-STD-1751
